"Little Sarah Jones" is a cautionary tale, gently reminding children to be careful what they wish for while simultaneously telling them to enjoy being a kid while they can.
Aunt Leena's own niece, Sarah Ann, inspired the character of Sarah Jones. While she has yet to wish to be "all growed up", she has a flair of adult attitude at moments, which causes both hushed amusement and a mean streak of trouble. Sarah Ann openly speaks her mind (as children often do) and will boss everyone around, being very mindful to let them know when they have done something wrong.
