The Very Hungry Bear Cub

"The Very Hungry Bear Cub" is the very first short children's story Aunt Leena wrote. It teaches moderation and balance at meal time.

Inspiration for this little tale came from the term "Nokose", pronounced "Noh-koh-seh", which means 'bear' in Muskogee Creek. Aunt Leena thought this would be a perfect name for a bear cub and started thinking up all the mischief baby bears can get into. Her own remembrances of Winnie the Pooh's need for honey pushed her along the path of food. She then added in the mix of the "you are what you eat" motif for a proper scare to Nokose.

This story, and many more, are forthcoming in an eBook compilation.
